Declaration of Conformity
I
The Miniature Power PCB Relays MSR are compliant to the Directive 2002 / 95 / EC, Restriction of Hazardous Substances, 'RoHS-Directive'
These relays are compliant to the DIRECTIVE 2002/95/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 January 2003 (RoHS) on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The parts do not exceed the maximum concentrations of 0.1% by weight in homogenous materials for lead, hex chrome, mercury, PBB, PBDE, and 0.01% for cadmium, or qualify for an exemption to the above limits as defined in the Annex of the RoHS Directive. Products with AgNi and AgSnO2 contacts do not contain cadmium and are fully compliant. Product versions with AgCdO contacts qualify for an exemption as listed in the Annex.

Materials as restricted by the Directive 2002 / 95 / EC, 'RoHS Directive' and the Directive 2000 / 35 / EC, 'ELV-Directive' Materials are not intentionally added and below limits set forth by the RoHS and ELV Directives Versions with AgCdO contacts qualify for an exemption (`Cadmium and its compounds in electrical contacts...' )and are compliant with reference to paragraph 4 of the RoHS Directive.
Lead-free conversion With the conversion to lead-free solder for internal solder points and pre-tinning of pins, these products have been converted by 19.01.2004 and are completely lead-free as per production code 0404 (see product marking on the product, e.g. production code 0404 refers to week 04 2004) Please note that for logistics reasons deliveries with products produced prior to this production code is possible Pins pre-tinned Sn99.3Cu0.7
Label marking Packages containing products compliant with the RoHS-Directive are identified by the information `2002/95/EC (RoHS) Comp.', 'RoHS compl.' or 'Lead-Free' (see samples); for Miniature Power PCB Relays MSR all these markings identify these products being compliant with the RoHS Directive.
